Tri-West Middle School

Tri-West Middle School 7th grader, Andrew Shaffer, was recently awarded the Top D.A.R.E essay winner from the state of Indiana.  Andrew wrote the essay last spring as part of the final requirement  to complete the 6th grade D.A.R.E program with Deputy Jones.  Andrew was recognized on November 18 at Governor's Mansion in Indianapolis.  Andrew shared his essay with the crowd and got a chance to talk directly with Lieutenant Governor, Suzanne Crouch.  Andrew is pictured with the Lieutenant Governor and Deputy Jones.
